The reason I originally started this website is because I was a reseller looking for inventory. I had made the mistake of relying on only one liquidation store to get inventory for my entire business, and when they changed their pricing structure my business completely collapsed.
That experience taught me how important it is for resellers to have access to multiple inventory sources and how difficult it can be to find new liquidation opportunities.
I originally created the website Bin Store Finder, but after running that I realized that bin stores are only a tiny subset of a larger liquidation store network. There are many different types of liquidation businesses, including return stores, pallet liquidation stores, overstock retailers, discount warehouses, and more.
Through building and maintaining Bin Store Finder, I learned a lot about what people are looking for when searching for liquidation stores. I decided it made sense to expand into a larger directory here on Liquidation Store Finder and create a resource that covers the entire liquidation industry.
Since bin stores are a type of liquidation store, I also decided to bring the information from Bin Store Finder into this larger directory. My goal is to create a more complete and user-friendly resource where shoppers and resellers can find liquidation opportunities in one place.
I am a very hands on person and when I create each listing, I verify everything the best I can using each store’s social media and website. I also like to search through comments and pictures so I can see what people are saying, what kinds of things the store sells, etc.
I continue doing what I do because I really do love making websites and getting information out to others. Also, I love finding a good deal, whether I am reselling it or purchase something for myself. I don’t have as much time nowadays as I used to though so I don’t get out to liquidation and bin stores as often as I would like. I still feel like I am part of the community though, since I can contribute with these websites.
